Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files which you receive from our websites and are stored on your computer's hard drive. They are included with every request (or “page visit”) you send to our website thereafter until they expire. They are used in almost all websites in order to help them function correctly, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide general usage information to the owners of the site.

We will never store your personal data in a plain text cookie. We may store personal data in a secure, encrypted cookie, which can only be read by our servers.

There are different kinds of cookies, detailed below:

  • Session Cookies – these have a short lifetime and are deleted when you close your browser. Example uses may be to remember what is in your shopping basket, or to anonymously track your interactions with the site to give us a better idea of how visitors are using our site.
  • Persistent Cookies – these will stay on your computer until they reach their expiry date. Example uses may be to remember your login when you revisit the site.
  • Third Party Cookies – these come from sites and services we are embedding in our website, such as Google Analytics, YouTube or Google Maps.

We also use cookies and similar software known as web beacons or pixels to count users who have visited our website after clicking through from one of our advertisements on another website or in emails and to collect details of any products purchased. These web beacons collect limited information which does not identify particular individuals. It is not possible to refuse the use of web beacons. However, because they are used in conjunction with cookies, you can effectively disable them by setting your browser to restrict or block cookies.

We keep a record of page views which is logged automatically by our server, which includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, the page you visited and the website that referred you to ours. These records are kept for up to 3 months. We also collect some site statistics such as access rates, page hits and page views. We are not able to identify any individual from traffic data or site statistics.
